G100 will host critical webcast on Payment Times Reporting

Share This Post

The Payment Times Reporting Framework will require large businesses to report their small business payment practices. Commencing on 1 January 2021, reporting entities will need to prepare bi-annual reports to the Payment Times Regulator.

To assist members, the Group of 100 (G100) is continuing to hold webcasts dealing with issues impacting companies. The latest event in the current series, will deal with this payments issue. Titled “Payment Times Reporting Framework,” the webinar will be held on Monday, 2 November 2020, from 11:00 am to noon (AEDT). This event is being hosted by CA ANZ and they have invited the G100 to contribute.

The webinar will hear from Tegan Johnson, Manager – Payment Times Implementation Team at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources, and the session will be moderated by Janelle Hopkins, Chair of the G100 and CFO of REA Group.

As this is such a big issue for most companies, we are encouraging all G100 members to attend if possible, or send members of their teams. There is no charge for the G100 members to attend this event.

Topics to be cover in the webinar include:

  • Find out more about the Payment Reporting Framework – who is a reporting entity and what will need to be reported;
  • Learn about the progress of the small business identification tool and the reporting portal; and
  • Have your questions answered by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources / the payment times regulator.

There will be ample time for members and their teams to ask questions and raise issues that may be of concern. Further details will be sent to the G100 members via email this week.
