The Group of 100 (G100) has commissioned Milliman to generate a standardised set of discount rates for the purpose of discounting employee benefit liabilities under Australian Accounting Standard 119 Employee Benefits (AASB 119). The scope of the work is limited to Australian employee benefit schemes, and excludes any schemes of foreign subsidiaries of domestic entities which are denominated in foreign currency.
The Group of 100 has been pleased to provide the monthly Discount Rate report to charity organisations at no cost for many years. Following a review of our current arrangements, we have determined that providing complimentary access is no longer sustainable.
Accordingly, from 1 July 2026, charities will no longer be eligible to access the Group of 100 Discount Rate report free of charge.
From this date, the report will be available to all organisations, including charities, at the standard purchase price of $200 plus GST per report.
