The Board of the Group of 100 (G100) held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, 6 November in Sydney.
All current affairs were discussed, and the Board focussed on all the major tasks that the G100 is undertaking: creating a vibrant network, shaping the business context and offering opportunities to the members to meet the needs of the current environment and to adapt to the challenges of the future.
Andrew Porter, Chair of G100, announced the succession plans for Janelle Hopkins taking over as Chair with Deputy Chairs Martyn Roberts and Lawrie Tremaine.
The Board approved the use of a variation of the G100 horizontal logo, to incorporate a tagline that would allow easier recognition and understanding of who we are. The new tagline is “ CFO’s building better businesses”.
The Board also evaluated the initiatives and events of 2019 and discussed the proposed 2020 calendar of events.
The next board meeting will take place on 25 February 2020 in Melbourne.
