G100 announces ‘Future of the Profession’ webinar series

If the past months have taught us anything, it’s the need to be able to respond quickly to changing business conditions leveraging technology to enable it. As a result, the digitisation path has accelerated for many people and organisations offering an opportunity to transform the finance function.   

To support CFOs and their teams on their transformation journey, the Group of 100 (G100) is pleased to be partnering with PwC to deliver the ‘Future of the Profession’ series.

Over the next 12 months, the G100 and PwC will run a series of events designed to help organisations understand how to transform their finance functions by embracing new technologies, leveraging data and embedding new ways of working.  

Titled “Future of the Profession – Digitising Finance” the first webinar of the series will be held on Tuesday, 10 November 2020, from 12:00 to 1:15 pm (AEST). 

In the session, Vishy Narayanan, PwC’s Chief Digital Officer, and Lisa Fraser, Executive Director and a senior Finance Executive at Macquarie Group, will share will share their digital journey providing perspectives on their learnings.  They will also take part in a Q&A. The webinar will be moderated by Andrew Porter, Immediate Past Chair of the G100 and CFO at AFIC.

Subsequent sessions will include deeper analysis on topics designed to arm CFOs and their teams with the tools and knowledge to adapt and up-skill; recruit skilled talent and transform the finance function.
