We are pleased to announce that The Group of 100 is now a Registered Australian Body (RAB), thanks to the work done by Deloitte.
As explained, this needed to be done so the organisation is adequately accountable to ASIC and to reflect that the Group of 100 is a national body operating across most states of Australia.
As a result, the Rules of Association have been updated to reflect the change. The National Executive Committee has become a Board, and its members are now Directors of the Board. The President is now Chair of the Board, and the Vice President has become Deputy Chair. The new mandate for the Board Directors is now three years compared to the previous two-year term. The Directors are now covered by D&O insurance.
