G100 resumes limited in-person events

As COVID-19 restrictions ease in some states, the Group of 100 (G100) is resuming in-person events. The first of these was held in Adelaide on 29 July; a second will be held in early August. The functions are limited in number and will adhere to strict social distancIng policies.

PwC hosted the first ‘in-person’ breakfast; this will be followed by the second Adelaide event and then breakfast meetings later in the year for Brisbane and Perth.

The breakfast events across the country have attracted interest among senior finance executives. While numbers are limited for the current series of breakfast meetings, the smaller numbers will ensure guests are able to more easily engage in free-flowing, open discussion. The topics of interest are the impact of the pandemic, how Australia emerges for the pandemic, market conditions and other issues impacting businesses.
