The first Group of 100 (G100) Members Dinner of the year took place in Melbourne, on Tuesday, 25 February 2020. KPMG kindly hosted the event in their Melbourne offices, located at Level 36 Tower Two Collins Street. The dinner started at 6:30 pm with pre-dinner drinks and canapés, and it ended at 9:00 pm.
The event was hosted by Janelle Hopkins, Chair of G100 and CFO of REA Group and the guest speakers for the evening were James Shipton, Chair of ASIC, and Martyn Roberts, Deputy Chair of G100 and CFO of Coca Cola Amatil.
Mrs Hopkins acknowledged the significant contribution Andrew Porter, Immediate Past Chair of G100 and CFO of AFIC has made to the G100 as he stepped down after a two-year mandate. Mrs Hopkins also thanked Mark McNamara, Immediate Past Deputy Chair of G100 and CEO at SA Pathology for his work on behalf of the G100.
The next Members Dinner is scheduled to take place in Brisbane, 14 April 2020.
