The first two events have already taken place in Melbourne at Supernormal and Vue de Monde with a third event held in Sydney at Bentley Restaurant and Bar.

The luncheons have attracted interest among senior executives and business leaders from several major companies and organisations. With numbers for each event capped at just 25, guests can engage in an open discussion with the key speakers.

Speakers at the events so far have included Damon Kitney, the biographer of James Packer and the Melbourne Business Editor of The Australian; Philip Dalidakis, former Victorian Government Minister and now Executive General Manager of Corporate Services at Australian Post; Peter Nathan, Chief Executive Asia Pacific of The a2 Milk Company; and Eric Johnston, Business Editor at The Australian.“We are delighted to have this opportunity to be working with two well-established organisations, many of our members will already be familiar with Sundaram’s business operations and services,” G100 Chief Executive Officer Stephen Woodhill said.

“We are also pleased to announce that Sundaram and Civic Financial have both become members of the G100 and I encourage you all to join us at one of the coming networking events we will be holding in Melbourne and Sydney.”

Sundaram Business Services is a global Business Processes Outsourcing (BPO) provider based in Chennai, India. Sundaram is one of six subsidiaries of Sundaram Finance Group, a 65-year old listed Indian company with a market capitalisation of US$ 2.7 billion and more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

“We are delighted to be the newest member of the G100 and are looking forward to meeting many G100 members at our upcoming events,” Harish Rao, Sundaram’s Global Head of Business Development said.

“Our networking events will give you an insight into what we do, but most importantly they are an opportunity to break bread and discuss business with some of the top executives and opinion shapers in the country.”

Civic Financial, an investor relations and financial communications firm founded by Mark Hawthorne, former Publisher of The Age and National Business Editor of Fairfax Media, is coordinating the events.

“The idea is to bring our network at Civic Financial together with those of Sundaram and the G100, and create a series of small and intimate events with first-rate speakers,” Mark said.

The next networking luncheon will be held in Melbourne on September 10, with details to be announced in the coming days.
