The Group of 100 (G100), has launched a series of business breakfast events hosted by G100 members.
The first two events have already taken place, in Adelaide, hosted by EY on 2 October and by PwC on 23 October and marked the launch of the G100 SA Chapter.
The third event will take place in Perth on 31 October, and Wesfarmers Limited will host it at their premises, Level 14 Brookfield Place Tower two, 123 St Georges Terrace. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 am and finish at 9:00 am. Guests will hear from Wesfarmers CEO Rob Scott and CFO Anthony Gianotti. Details on the new G100 WA Chapter will also be revealed at the breakfast event.
Breakfast meetings are also being scheduled in Brisbane, where guests will learn about the new G100 Queensland Chapter and hear from a business leader. Breakfasts for Melbourne and Sydney are being planned for early December.
The Honourable Cameron Dick MP, Queensland Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning will address members in Melbourne, while Senator Andrew Bragg, Chair of the Select Committee on Financial Technology and Regulatory Technology, will address members in Sydney.
“We are delighted to have this opportunity to be working closely with businesses across Australia, and see how G100 can better serve CFO’s and senior finance executives in the future,” G100 Chief Executive Officer Stephen Woodhill said.
The breakfasts have attracted interest among senior executives and business leaders from several major companies and organisations. With numbers for each event capped at just 10, guests can engage in an open discussion. The breakfasts are organised for CFO’s and senior finance executives and provide guests with the opportunity to network and hear from key speakers on market conditions and issues impacting businesses, focusing both on local and national factors.
