G100 South Australia Chapter Breakfast – Round 2

As you are likely aware, last year, the Group of 100 (G100) held several breakfast meetings in Adelaide to launch the G100 SA Chapter. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, we had to postpone the events scheduled in the first half of 2020. However, as a result of the excellent work done by Southern Australia in containing the spread of COVID-19, we are pleased to announce that we will resume the G100 SA Chapter and would like to invite you to a breakfast meeting at PWC on 29 July or 18 August 2020.

The last two years were significant ones for the G100. While we have remained 'apolitical' we successfully raised our profile with key politicians at both the Federal and State levels. We took on the issues of taxation reform, proxy advisers, consensus, FBT and harmonisation of regulation and legislation between states to name a few — but working with all sides.

During the coronavirus crisis, we continued to engage with members, held the scheduled AGM and board meetings via teleconference and continued to work tirelessly behind the scenes, advocating for the G100 members. While we could not keep our regular member networking events and dinners, we have launched a series of webinars which bring critical information from leading organisations, government and regulators to our members.

All the events we have scheduled in the second half of this year are going ahead as planned.
