The Hon. Ambassador Joe Hockey (Ret.) is best known as an Australian politician and former Australian Ambassador to the United States of America.

Mr Hockey’s extensive political career spanned just over 19 ½ years.  He held several Ministerial and Shadow Ministerial portfolios, including being Treasurer from 2013 to 2015.

Mr Hockey served as Australian Ambassador to the United States from 2016 to 2020.  During that time, he is credited with persuading President Donald Trump to take Australia seriously as an ally.

Today Mr Hockey works as a partner and President of Bondi Partners, the corporate advisory firm he founded in 2020.
